Notes on astrological signs

PISCES:

CANCER: Deeply insecure, can't stand being vulnerable and work very hard to seem like they love themselves.

LEO:

VIRGO: Tendency to harbor deep resentment.

SCORPIO: Scorpios are known for being dark and mysterious, and that is often the first impression in my experience, too. And they're always different in one way or another. Most of the times I think on purpose, and sometimes it shines through even though they actively try to hide it. But why dark? They tend to identify so strongly with their pain that it's a big component of their self image and worldview. They are very deep and super fascinated and intrigued with the darker aspects of humanity, and they can become fixated on things like death, serial killers, dark psychology, pain, nihilism, etc... In their personal lives, this fascination can sometimes lead them to push their own boundaries and seek out (perhaps subconsciously) toxic and risky situations, often involving sex or drugs. And relationships which aren't necessarily healthy, either. They can have self-destructive tendencies, like insane perfectionistic routines for doing something, or a starvation regimen, for example.

And beneath all of this is a deeply insecure person. Once you get to know them, it's hard to see the mysterious air and reserve as anything but a cautious guardedness. Their eyes usually have an intensity which can come off as a bit intimidating, but once you (or at least I) sit down one-on-one, those eyes soon soften into a vulnerable sadness which is as light and pure as their persona is dark and heavy. They are very mistrusting and insecure about other people, but once they've taken you in they are the most loyal ride-or-die people you can find. They are also very caring, respectful and understanding of humans in general, and they're genrally not the type to talk shit about anyone. I love Scorpios.
