Life, being human, is some damn tough and painful shit. And then it all just ends.
Nothing is permanent. Everything ends. Every breath, every feeling, every thought, every moment, every season, every engagement, every day, every movie, every series, every relationship, every life. None of this lasts forever, and that makes it so intensely meaningful.
Cherish every moment you spend with a person, because you never know if it will be the last. Let the small, petty, ego stuff go, and create beautiful moments together. Express how you feel, appreciate people while they're here, because one day it will be to late. Encourage the goodness in others. Be a light in their life, because life is a difficult ordeal. Every laugh, every touch, every moment shared with someone you care about is so insanely sacred, because it won't last for ever. Love fiercely and freely. Cherish their voice, their laugh, their smell, their skin, their hands, their teeth, their feel, their warmth while it's still there. One day you won't have access to it. And some day they will merely be a stack of bones, unable to laugh or move any more.
Appreciate every moment you are alive to observe this humbling experience called life. Be present, notice the richness and texture of each new moment as it unfolds before your very eyes and ears. The movie that is playing which the eyeballs in your skull get to observe and your brain gets to register. Squeeze as much joy and happiness out of it as you can. Experience it all and create all the good memories. Some day it will all just be a black void.
The meaning of your life is not out there waiting to be found; it's something you create in every choice, moment and relationship. It's your responsibility to create the life you wish to lead.
