  • ACCEPT the other perso as just a human being and their behavior as caused
  • BE HUMBLE, remember you are not perfect; remember your own mistakes and transgressions that made you feel shameful
  • List the PROS and CONS of shaming and blaming the other person for their behavior or trying to make someone feel disgusting or ashamed
  • Remember why you APPRECIATE, LIKE and LOVE this person; let empathy and compassion win out over resentment
